Digital World Creation in Unreal Engine

Create your own virtual worlds in Unreal Engine!

In the first module of this course, students will create their own virtual worlds from scratch in Unreal Engine. Want to build a cyberpunk-influenced dystopian city? How about a mystical city surrounded by lush rain forests? By utilizing the features in Unreal Engine and by exploring online marketplaces for 3D objects, students will unleash their creative potential to bring their imagined worlds to life.
Course Takeaway
Students will finish this course with a working understanding of Unreal Engine and some accompanying 3D animation technologies. Students will learn how to manipulate virtual objects and environments in Unreal Engine 4 as they create their own unique virtual worlds.

John Inman is a 3d Artist, Generalist, and Art Director with 20 plus years of experience specializing in VFX, commercials, games, real-time training simulations, theme park rides, augmented reality, and graphic design. Projects include the game “Arms of Redemption” by Elder God Games and an augmented reality project for the Chainsmokers.
